Mrs. Linnie Catoe Boyd Sampson, 84, of 1201 Charles Drive died Saturday, January 26, at Duke University Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Jim Bailey.
Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Sewell of Laurinburg and Judy Chavis and husband, James of Rockingham; a brother, Clyde Catoe of Lancaster, SC; two sisters; June Cavanaugh of Connellsville, PA and Odessa Cornwell of Chester, SC; six grandchildren, Lisa Crabb of Durham, Frank Sewell of Charleston, SC, Andrew Sewell of Fuquay-Varina, John Sewell of Vellmawr, NJ, Jimmy Chavis of McLeansville, and Emily Kirkley of Graham; two great grandchildren; James Chavis, IV and Michael Chavis of Bolivia.
