Mr. Lindsay Page Pratt, Sr., 86, of Scotia Village died Tuesday August 3, at Scotia Village.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Scotia Village officiated by the Rev. Lewis McLean.
He is survived by his wife; Martha Jones Pratt; two sons, Lindsay Page Pratt, Jr. of Laurinburg and John Charles Pratt of Los Alamos, NM; two sisters, Kathleen Pratt Whisnant of Kings Mountain and Ila Belle Pratt Orlandi of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren; Jennifer McClune Pratt of Laurinburg, Lindsay Page Pratt, III of Oakland, CA, John Charles Pratt, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO; and Mary Elizabeth Pratt of Los Alamos, NM; three sisters-in-law; Ilena Pratt and Eunice Pratt of Belmont and Marian Reaves of Laurinburg.
Born September 20, 1912 in York, SC, he was a son of the late John O. and Ila Belle Page Pratt. He resided in Goldsboro from 1954 until 1972 where he was manager of the A&P, president of Lin-Mar Mobile Homes, chairman of the board of deacons at Madison Street Baptist Church and a member of the Rotary Club. Moving to Wagram in 1972, he was the owner and operator of REaves Engraving, served on the board of deacons at Spring Hill Baptist Church, on the building committee at Stewartsville Baptist Church and was a member of the Golden K Club.
