Linda Perkins Oxendine, 69 of Laurinburg, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Morrison Manor.
Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2017 at 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM at McDougald Funeral Home Bumgarner Chapel officiated by Rev. Woody Byrd and Rev. Kenneth Locklear.
Born October 24, 1948, in Marlboro County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Basil and Lula Mae Johnson Perkins. She was a member of Shepherd Chapel Evangelistic Church and employed by Abbott Laboratories. Linda loved drawing, painting, traveling and going to the beach. Her favorite time spent in the mountains was during autumn.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, James Albert Oxendine of the home; daughter Angela Spry Lucas and husband, Blaine of Fayetteville; son, David Revels of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Alexis Spry, Anslee Spry, Addison Spry, A.J. Spry and Owen Lucas; twin sister, Brenda K. Parker and husband Donald of Laurinburg and sister, Mary Louise Caulder of Laurel Hill; brother Fred Leroy Perkins and wife Linda of Jackson, OH.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Boyd Quick, Jr. and Jay William Quick.
