Lily Mae Cochran Talley, 75, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at her home.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at her home officiated by Rev. Brian Workman. Burial will follow at the residence. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born September 28, 1944 in Bucks County, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Lillie Mae MacDonald Cochran.  She was a former employee of Capel Rug Mill with twenty-five years of service and later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the healthcare industry.

She loved to help people, walking in the woods, and the mountains.  She loved her family and enjoyed having them around all the time.  She also loved her church, Liberty Fellowship in New Hope.

Mrs. Talley is survived by her husband of fifty years, Dewey William Talley of the home; her sons, Doug “Spook” Hissim (Jane) of Troy, Dale “Spock” Hissim (Deanna) of Wallburg, Sheldon Talley of the home; and Josh Talley (Samantha) of Troy; her daughter, Lahoma Workman (Brian) of Denton; her brother, John Cochran of GA; two sisters, Carol Haring of Upper Black Eddy, PA and Sharon Sovil (Terry) of Denton; seven grandchildren, Patrick Hissim, Casey Hissim, Travis Hissim, Benjamin Workman (Anna), Kyanna Workman, Harper Talley and Avett Talley; and two great-grandchildren, Sailor Workman and Declan Workman.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Isaac Workman.
