Lewis Samuel "Sam" Carlyle
Lewis Samuel "Sammy" Carlyle, 61, of Ocean Isle Beach, died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at his home.
Born on December 16, 1948 in Brunswick, GA, a son of the late Rufus Muzell and Grace Smith Carlyle.
Sammy was self employed as a photographer for 30 years and a member of the Briarwood Golf Club in Shallotte.
Surviving are his two daughters, Amy Carper, and husband, Richard, of Roanoke, VA, and Allison Carlyle, and husband, Timothy Clark, of Pilot, VA; two brothers, Ron Carlyle, of Bennettesville, NC and Terry Carlyle, and wife, Michelle, of Whiteville, NC; sister, Geraldine Carlyle, of Raleigh, NC; and three granddaughters.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7th at Sam's home, 331 Kestrel Drive (Lakewood Estates) and on Sunday, August 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel, Laurinburg, NC.
