Mrs. Levie Quick McGirt, 97, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Henry L. and Mary Andrews Caison.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time at McDougald Funeral HOme and Crematorium.
She is survived by two sons, Charles K. Quick of Clover and David K Quick of Laurinburg; a daughter, Lillian Quick of Laurinburg, 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Etta Jean Sessoms and Ellen Q. Radford.
She was a retired employee of Waverly Mills, was a member of Central United Methodist Church in East Laurinburg, and while a resident of Clover she attended the First United Methodist Church. Levie was a devoted and loving mother, raising all of her children by herself.
