Mrs. Leta Cashwell Harris Yarbrough, 90, died Saturday, April 15, at Scotia Village.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hillside Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Robert MacLean.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born August 5, 1929 in Maxton, NC. She was the third child of Mr. Nad Mrs. Fred Cashwell. She graduated from Maxton High School and received her teaching certificate from Louisburg College. A member of the First United Methodist Church, she served on the Board of stewards and taught Sunday school. Her husband, Paul P. Harris, her son, Paul P. Harris, II, and her second husband, Edward P. Yarbrough preceded Mrs. Yarbrough in death.
Surviving relatives are her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Harris of Laurinburg; her daughter-in-law, Maggie Harris of Laurinburg; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Fred Cashwell, II of Birmingham, AL.
