Mr. Leon McDuffie 'Lynn' Grubbs, 86, of 12101 Blue's Farm Road and formerly of Burlington died Saturday, January 2, at his home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Lawrence B. Coleman. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. at Baynes Baptist Church Cemetery in Burlington.

He is survived by a daughter, Syliva Stewart and her husband, Kemp of Laurinburg; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Born July 18, 1912 in Eastman, GA, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Ola Hardin Grubbs and widower of the late Mary 'Teency' Miles Grubbs. He was retired from Transport Trucking Co. after 35 years as a truck driver. He was a former member and deacon at Baynes Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 7 - 9 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
