Leon Dial, 44, formerly of Laurinburg, was born July 23, 1967, to the late James and Shelby Jean Scott Dial, and went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center in Concord, N.C.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bowen Family Cemetery in Laurinburg, N.C. Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
He was preceded in death by his nephew Daniel Ray Chavis.
Leon leaves to cherish his memories to his wife Alberta Locklear Dial of the home; a daughter Leondra Nicole Dial (John) of Hasty; a stepdaughter, Heather Lee and husband Patrick; a stepson, Ray Lee of Laurinburg; a brother, Ricky Dial and wife Frances of Hasty; six sisters, Patsy Bullard and husband Sherman, Connie McMillian and husband Jimmy all of Maxton, Vicky Todd and husband Dale of Wagram, Lisa Chavis, Cheryl Williams and husband Phil all of Laurinburg, Shirley Dial and husband Raymond of Lumber Bridge; two loveable granddaughters, McKenzie Rain Desmond and Khloe LaRain Desmond; several special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
