Laura Baker Middleton

Mrs. Laura Baker Middleton, 95, died Saturday, September 9, at the Edwin Morgan Center.

A graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Cemetery with Rev. Elizabeth Forester officiating.

Born April 12, 1905 in St. Pauls, NC, she was a daughter of the late William and Eliza Evans Baker and wife of the late Daniel L. Middleton, Sr. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are four daughters; Peggy M. Craig of Florence, Kitty M. Currie of Laurinburg, Laura M. Newton of Taylor, SC and Patsy Middleton of Charlotte, three sons; Daniel L. Middleton, Jr. of Pinehurst, Jimmy Middleton of Pineville and Sammy B. Middleton of Maxton, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church, 600 W. Church St., Laurinburg, NC 28352 or to Hospice of Scotland County, P. O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.

The family will be at the Currie Residence at 1300 W. Church St.

McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
