Larry Steven "L. P." Priest, 58, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012.
A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Harry Clark. Visitation will follow in the funeral home.
He is survived by two sons, Danny Priest and Jon Priest (Nicole) of Laurinburg; a daughter, Laura Martin (Mark) of Laurinburg; a sister, Regina German of Hamlet; a brother, Michael Priest of Laurinburg; seven grandchildren, Destiny Cheyanne Priest, Alyssa Ryyian Priest, Jon Rylan Priest, Mark Andrew Martin, Braden Alexander Martin, Trenton Jacob Martin, and Tessa Elizabeth Martin.
Born August 30, 1953 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late J. W. and Marjorie Smith Priest. He was retired as a painter and carpenter.
