Larry Daniel Dennis

Larry Daniel Dennis, age 64, of Troy died Friday, September 7, 2018 at his home. Mr. Dennis was born December 29, 1953 in Montgomery County, NC, to the late Jones T. Dennis and the late Nellie Merritt Dennis. He was a retired Sewing Machine Mechanic in the Cloth Manufacturing Industry. He was known to be a jack of all trades, and a former owner of Worldly Goods Flea Market. He loved his family, Jesus, and helping people. He is survived by his wife: Annette Lyles Dennis; four daughters, Mikayla Danyell Dennis of Troy, Misty Wood and husband, Marshall of Mt. Gilead, Christie Jo Richardson and husband, Cregg, of Mt. Gilead, and  Amy Regina Atwell of Albemarle; three sons, Randy Plowman and wife, Lynn of Carthage, Larry William Dennis and wife, Regina of Indian Trail, and Daniel Efird and wife, Trisha of Monroe; three sisters, Ruth Dennis of Farmville, VA, Carol Mullinix of Albemarle, and Elizabeth Furr and husband, Bob of Albemarle; and 15 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Micky Dennis. The family will receive friends Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6-8 PM at White Crest Baptist Church, 1051 River Road, Mt. Gilead. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at White Crest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
