Mr. Lacy E. Winters, Jr. 79 of 2160 Seals Road, died Sunday at his home.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM in Raeford City Cemetery in Raeford.
Born January 27, 1921 in Raleigh, he was the son of the late Lacy E. and Luda Mae Whitfield Winters. His wife Lucille "Seal" Winters died moments after his death. Mr. Winters was retired from Morgan Mills as a cotton spinner. He was a member of the Presbyterian Faith.
His daughter, Becky Townsend of Shallotte, a son Lawrence Winters of Maxton, and a sister, Dorothy Jean Jones of Marietta, GA survive him.
