Lacy Lee Ingram, age 70, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by Jerry Ingram, Sr..
He is survived by his former wife, Alma Louise Henegan of Laurinburg; two sons, Alexander Ingram and wife, Tiffany of Clifton, NJ and Al Ingram of Asheville; two daughters, Felicia Ingram of Laurinburg and Valerie Ingram of Asheville; three brothers, Jerry Ingram and wife, Mildred and Jerome "Shorty" Ingram and wife, Gladys of Laurinburg and David Ingram and wife, Laverne of Reynoldsburg, OH; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ardell Ingram and four brothers, Lorinza Ingram, Walter Frank Ingram, Willie Wiston Ingram, and Inez Ingram; and three sisters, Mary, Eula, and Ruth.
Born December 26, 1940 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Ralph and Mary Lee Jackson Ingram. He served with the US Army in Vietnam and worked many years as a brick mason. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and uncle, and as one who loved to play the guitar and piano.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
