Kevin Vello

Kevin Vello, age 70, passed away on December 23, 2025, at his home in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He was born on May 13, 1955.

Kevin was a lifelong sports fan, especially devoted to the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. He enjoyed hockey, football, golfing, and playing Texas Hold’em poker. He had a deep appreciation for music, particularly classic rock, and could often be found quietly dancing along when no one was looking.

When his children were young, Kevin proudly coached Little League baseball, sharing his love of sports and teamwork with both his family and the community. He valued time spent together and the simple joys of everyday life.

He is survived by his four children: Kevin A. Vello, Anthony Vello, Celena Vello, Brianna Vello, his brothers Jay Vello and Dennis Vello and his sister Linda Poirier. He was predeceased by his parents, Noella and Alfonso Vello.

Private services will be held by the family.
