Kenwyn 'Bill' Neil Johnson, Sr.

Mr. Kenwyn 'Bill' Neil Johnson, Sr. 68, died Thursday evening, December 31, 1998, in Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Pages Chapel Holiness Church of the White Pond Community in Fairmont, NC officiated by the Rev.'s Jerry Powell, Ira Yeatts, and Russell Kinlaw, Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born May 4, 1930 in Robeson County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Lillian Page Johnson, Sr. Owner and operator of Johnson Brothers Realty and Construction, Mr. Johnson was a former county commissioner in Scotland County and a lifetime member of the Optimist Club. He was a member and deacon at Pages Chapel Holiness Church in Fairmont.
Bill is survived by his wife, Agnes McLellan Johnson of the home, four daughters, Debbie Grubbs, Donna Faulk, and Billie Johnson Maides all of Laurinburg and Denise Riddick of Gates, NC; two sons, Kenwyn 'Kenny' Neil Johnson, Jr. and Randy Johnson both of Laurinburg; five sisters, Margaret Stewart, Lillian Floyd and Shirley Dickens all of Fayetteville, Matalyn Arnette of Fairmont and Helen Arnette of Dillon, SC; one brother, A.P. Johnson of Southern Pines. Ten grandchildren also survive him.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 7 to 9 PM at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
