Kenneth Alexander Jarrell

Kenneth Alexander Jarrell, 80, of Troy passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst after a five-year battle with kidney failure.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Forks of Little River Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Tony Sedberry. The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.

Born June 3, 1943, in Newport News County, VA, he was a son of the late George Alexander and Izador Burris Jarrell. While living in Virginia before moving to Montgomery County, Kenneth had helped build submarines in the shipyard there. He loved drag racing and working on their engines. He was a huge Mopar fan.

He is survived by his children, Kenneth A. Jarrell, II, Kaleb A. Jarrell, and Kristopher A. Jarrell, all of the home, Keith Jarrell and Kevin Jarrell of PA, Kimberly Lowery of Winston Salem, and Kaitlin Jarrell of AK.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristina Jarrell.
