Ken “Squeaky” Lee Hurley, 60, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Arlen Johnson. Burial will follow at Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Troy. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
Born July 13, 1963, in Montgomery County, he is a son of Mitzi Gail Griffin Hurley of Troy and the late Jerry Franklin Hurley. Ken was a member of several bands and played drums and guitar. He loved his family, music, and trucking.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sharon Callicutt Hurley of the home; son, Jeffrey Hurley (Elizabeth) of Troy; daughter, Stephanie Hurley Reynolds (Zack) and a little guy on the way, of Castle Rock, CO; brothers, Randy Hurley (Lori) and Chris Hurley (Christy), both of Asheboro; sister, Gale Boles (Mike) of Madison, NC; and grandchildren, Lainey Reynolds, Noel Reynolds, Emma Lewis, and Scarlett Lewis. He is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Hurley Hunsucker.
