Kathryn (Joseph) Lytch

Kathryn “Kathy” Joseph Lytch, 71, of Laurinburg, NC passed away on November 9, 2021.  Born July 28, 1950 in Laurinburg, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Freddie G. Joseph, Sr. and Julia George Joseph.  She graduated from Scotland High School and attended Richmond Community College.  She was passionate about giving back and volunteered in the local community for most of her life.  She was one of the founding members and Executive Director of Scotland County Concerned Citizens for the Homeless until her retirement in 2017.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Albert Lytch, Jr.  She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kay Lytch; sisters, Judy Joseph Andrews (Bruce) and Freda Joseph Davis (Marc); her brother, Freddie Joseph, Jr. (Donna); nephews Andy Andrews (Laura), Chris Davis (Mary Lou) and Trey Joseph; former husband and friend, Jim Lytch; and her dog, Lilly.

Visitation will be at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021.  There will be a private service at a later date.
