Justin Garrett Baldwin, 24, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at McColl Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. D. J. Byrd. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
He is survived by his father and mother, Corbett "Cory" and Debra Orvin Baldwin of Laurinburg; his sister, Amber Baldwin of Laurinburg; his paternal grandmother, Sylvia Baldwin of Laurel Hill; his maternal grandmother, Loretta Orvin of McColl; his uncle, Donald Orvin, Jr. (Carole) of Laurel Hill; his aunts, Karen Frostick of Fredricksburg, VA, Dawn Stone and Regina Tyson of Laurel Hill, and Dana Leviner (Jamie) of Whiteville. He is also survived by two special cousins, Rick Frostick and Brandon Frostick. He was precdeded in death by two cousins, Megan Roller and Amanda Orvin.
Justin was born August 21, 1990 in Scotland County and was also a grandson of the late Corbett Baldwin, Sr. and Donald Orvin, Sr. He graduated from Scotland High School where he was a John Phillips Sousa Award recipient as a trumpet player in the high school band.
After graduation he attended Masters Commission, USA in Dallas TX where he studied discipleship, and then received his associates degree at Richmond Community College and his Bachelor's Degree from University of North Carolina - Pembroke. He was completing his Master's at Grand Canyon University.
Justin was an 8th grade English teacher at Carver Middle School.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p m Tuesday, April 14 at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
