June Sheppard Clark, 76, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
A graveside service will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Cemetery located in Maxton, NC officiated by Pastor John Bran .
Born August 14, 1941, in Scotland County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Jackie Horne Sheppard. She was a member of Laurinburg Christian Church and retired from Peebles, formerly B.C. Moore after 15 years. June loved people, going to the beach and the outdoors.
She is survived by her daughter, June Sharon Hopkins and Husband John K. Hopkins, Sr. of Laurinburg; sons, James T. Clark, Jr and wife Debby, and daughter Kassie of Laurinburg and Bruce Michael Clark and wife Wanda, and children Tara and Danielle, of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Hopkins and Kevin Hopkins, II of Laurinburg, Tyson Michael Clark of Myrtle Beach, SC; great-grandchildren, Thomas Hunter Hopkins and Isabella Marie Hopkins of Laurinburg; uncle and aunt, Bob and Katie Sheppard of Laurinburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, James T. Clark.
Visitation will be at McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and the family will receive friends other times at her daughter’s home at 1002 W. Scotsdale Road, Laurinburg, NC.
