Mrs. Julia Lenora McDade Thompson, 81, of 600 Bryants Cir., Maxton, died Tuesday April 2, 2002.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am. Saturday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel with the Rev. Nancy Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Maxton.
She is survived by her husband John Henry Thompson, a son James David "Jimmy" Thompson of Laurinburg, three daughters, Deborah Dial and Linda Spencer both of Laurinburg and Rose Marie Woollen of Arlington, VA. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was born February 23, 1921 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Dean Vick McDade. She was a homemaker.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at McDougald Funeral and other times at the home of her daughter Lindaa
