Judith Kay Snipes, 54, of McFarland Road died Monday, August 25, at her residence.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Clayton Gween.
She is survived by a son, Darrell Jessie, II and wife, Toinette of Laurel Hill; two daughters, Marie Tyner and husband, Dean and Dawn Locklear and husband, Jason of Laurel Hill; her mother, Charity Elma Lee Ammons Snipes of Calabash; two brothers, Bobby O. Snipes of Calabash and Howard F. Snipes, Jr. of Laurinburg; two sisters, Charity Lee Ward of Laurel Hill and Linda Carver of Raleigh; nine grandchildren; Courtney, Willie Mace, DeQuan, Jasmine, Lil' Keith, Cameron, Gerald Keith, Makailyn, and Makenley. She was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Frances Mauldin.
Born May 31, 1954 in Scotland County, she was also a daughter of the late Howard Forest Snipes. She was a homemaker and always family oriented in her activities.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
