Joyce Ann (Callicutt) Atkins

Joyce Ann Callicutt Atkins, 77, of Biscoe passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Troy Wesleyan Church, officiated by Rev. Mark Atkins and Rev. James Brewer. Burial will follow at Love Joy Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the church.

Born June 9, 1945, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Martin and Jewel Hattie Hurley Callicutt. Joyce loved working with her flowers, reading, and her family. She was a people person and loved dealing with the public. Joyce was a sweet, kind, and generous person.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Royce Atkins of the home; sons, David Atkins of Biscoe and James Greg Atkins (Ginger White) of Kernersville; and sister, Allene Williams of Biscoe.
