Joseph Beeman West, Jr.

Joseph Beeman West, Jr., 59, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.

The family will have a private memorial service.

Born December 27, 1962 in Scotland County, he was the son of the late Joseph Beeman, Sr. and Isolene Rye West.  Joseph was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed  being outside and working. He loved going on walks with his grandchildren, watching westerns, and reading books. He was an old fashioned simple man, who was kind, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Helen Bruton of the home; his daughters, Elizabeth West, and Rachel Phillips both of Laurinburg; and three grandchildren.
