Mr. Joseph Leonard 'Joe' Johnson, 56, died Friday, July 9, at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Raeford.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Caledonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Thompson and Rev. Richard Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Born January 22, 1943 in Laurinburg, he was a son of the late James L. Johnson.
He was a retired electrician, a veteran of the US Army and a member of Caledonia United Methodist Church.
He is survived his wife; Christine McIntyre Johnson of Laurinburg, Mother; Elizabeth Stanley Johnson of East Laurinburg, one daughter; Martha J. Helms of Monroe, one son; Joseph L. Johnson, Jr. of Greensboro, one sister; Patricia Campbell of Laurel Hill, two brothers; Ray Johnson of Anderson, SC and Richard Johnson of Laurinburg, one grandson; Harris Kenneth Helms of Monroe.
