Johnny Ashley Pittman, 51, of 1137 Andrews Road died Saturday, June 28, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Caledonia United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Patricia Stone. Burial will follow in Caledonia Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Webb Pittman; two sons, Jeffery Morris of Kinston and Jamie Morris of Red Springs; a daughter, Amanda Jones and husband, Jerry of Raeford; two brothers, Franklin Pittman of Rockingham and David Pittman of Laurinburg; a sister, Mildred Pittman of Laurinburg; eight grandchildren and two nephews, Donnie Caulder and Jerry Caulder of Laurinburg. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Christian Morris and a nephew, Brian Pittman.
Born March 31, 1957 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Clayton and Mildred craft Pittman. In the 1970 and 80's he was a guitarist for "Boardwalk," a band playing Top 40 and Beach. He was also a printer with Bill Evans Co. and Service Printing.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
