Johnny Clarence Chriscoe, Sr., 93, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Wagram.
Born June 11, 1925, in Moore County, he was the son of the late Alfred Isley and Ina Mae Kennedy Chriscoe. After serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII, he was employed as a manager in the textile industry.
He is survived by his son, Johnny Chriscoe, Jr. (Susan) of Angier; three grandchildren, David Blalock, Ryan and Virginia Chriscoe; five great-grandchildren, Hailey and Reece Blalock, Greta and Anna Griswold and Owen Chriscoe. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Spivey Chriscoe, daughter, Eileen Blalock and grandson, Kevin Blalock.
