Born on March 23, 1991, in Scotland County, NC, he is the son of Wanda H. McKeithan (Ronnie Smith) of Laurel Hill and the late Norman Clay McKeithan.
Johnathan is survived by his children, Kaidan Clay McKeithan of Greenville, SC, and Emmalee Grace Davis of Pembroke; his brother, Seth Pate of Laurinburg; his paternal grandmother, Norma McKeithan of Laurinburg; his niece, Paislee Jones of Laurinburg; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Clay McKeithan, paternal grandfather, Herbert McKeithan, and his maternal grandparents, Carl and Mable House. Known for his friendly and kind nature, Johnathan's smile and warmth radiated to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He worked as a roofer with Gattis Construction. Johnathan's love for the great outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing—a pastime where he found peace and solace. He was also a devoted fan of the Carolina Tarheels. His love for cooking out was more than just about eating; it was about gathering, sharing, and making memories with those he held dear. Above all, Johnathan's world revolved around his children. Every moment spent with Kaidan and Emmalee was cherished.
