John Phillip Watson, 62, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his residence.

There will be no service.

Born April 10, 1957 in Abilene, Texas, he was the son of the late William and Wyona Daniel Watson. He was a salesman of sunglasses at NASCAR events and loved to fish.

He is survived by one son, Greg Watson (Kathy) of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Chase Watson and Emma Watson; three brothers, Larry Watson, Roy Watson and Bruce Watson, all of Dallas,Texas. In addition to his parents he is was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Watson.

Memorials may be directed to Bradford Prep Middle School Wrestling Team, 2502 Salome Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28262.
