John Fredrick Goodwin, 67, died MOnday, August 25, 2008.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the West Rockingham United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Donald Dawkins.
He is survived by a son, John Cody Goodwin of Laurel Hill; a step-daughter, Julie Parker of Conway, SC; a sister, Patricia Swink and husband, Jerry of Marshville; a special niece, Kimberly Caulder Roberson of Anderson, SC.
Born July 8, 1941 in Richmond County, he was a son of the late Joy Coy and Ethel Diggs Goodwin and was a retired truck driver for DeWitt Trucking Co.
