Jimmy Ray McCormick, 67, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Oxendine McCormick; three sons, Jimmy Ray McCormick, Christopher Ryan McCormick, and Samuel David McCormick of Laurinburg; a daughter, Terri McCormick-Howell of Wagram; a brother, Aubrey McCormick of Laurel Hill; a sister Harriet M. Dozier of Laurinburg; five grandchildren, Crystal Gail McCormick, Sydney Lee Howell, Kristin Grace Howell, Samantha Lee McCormick, and Christopher Ryan McCormick, Jr.
Born March 9, 1942 in Onslow County, he was a son of the late Samuel Ray and Marie Dunbar McCormick. He was the former owner and President of Jimmy McCormick Auto Sales in Laurinburg and served with Gideon's International.

Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
