Jimmy Lee Bowman

Jimmy Lee Bowman, 67, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Brantley Moore.

Born July 14, 1956, in Durham County, he was a son of the late Hubert and Bonnie Marie Esther Bowman. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He loved being outdoors and sitting outside enjoying nature.

He is survived by his wife of eight years, Lynn Cranford Bowman of the home; son, Scotty Lee Bowman of Woodrun; daughter, Lisa Gail High of Asheboro; step-sons, Christopher Justin Davis of Biscoe and James Burgess of Burgaw; step-daughter, Christy Nichole Detter of Wilkesboro; brother, Kenneth Edgar Bowman of Burlington; sister, Kathy Ann Brooks (Ronnie) of Bennett, Susie Martin (Billy) of Southport, Violet Williams of Virginia, Mary Kuehne of Carthage; and ten grandchildren.

Bumgarner Family Funeral Service is serving the Bowman family.
