Jimmie Hopkins, 79, died Sunday, September 5 2010 at Morrison Manor.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Ora P. Blair Hopkins; a son, John Keven Hopkins of Laurinburg; two daughters, Rhonda Faye Ward of Laurinburg and Frances Anne Orrme of Florida; a brother, Miles Hopkins of Wilmington, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Born September 30, 1930 in Pike County, KY, he was a son of the late Miles and Fannie Newsome Hopkins. He was a retired house painter.
