Jim Armes

James “Jim” Martin Armes, Jr., 74, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Morrison Manor. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 306 Fayetteville Ave., Bennettsville, SC.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria (McKenzie) Armes of the home; son, J. Martin Armes, III (Cindy) of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Lawson Wyche Armes of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, McKenzie, Milledge, Wells and Sarah Pratt Armes of Raleigh, NC.
Born August 11, 1941 in Fredonia, NY, he was the son of the late James M. Armes and Arlene Murphy Armes Maytum. A graduate of The Patterson School and East Tennessee State, he was a retired life insurance and real estate agent.
