Jesse Rutillers Haven

Jesse Rutillers Haven, 80 of Laurinburg, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Springfield Church of God, officiated by Pastor David Shoemake and Pastor Steve Adams.

Born August 17, 1937 in Simmesport, LA, he was a son of the late Michael and Henrietta Morgan Haven. He served in the US National Guard and operated his own equine dentistry business.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, although being together for 55, Anne Frances Crane Haven of the home; son, Harry “Pete” Chase Geiger (Angelia) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Geraldine “GiGi” Utter (Stewart) of Elizabeth City; brother, Wayne Haven of San Antonio, TX; sister, Polly Skinner (Bill) of Cibilo, TX; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
