Mrs. Jerolyn “Jerry” H. Grant of Laurinburg, NC (formerly of Chester, SC) passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
Born August 14, 1931 in Clover, SC, she was a daughter of the late Isaac Dewey and Pauline Hagans Hopper.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Carl Grant; son Joe Grant and wife Debbie and daughter Kathy Grant, all of Laurinburg; sister Eleanor H. Benson of Blackstock, SC; two grandchildren, Haley Powell and Chad Cole; seven great grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Donald Hopper and three sisters, Jean H. Richardson, Doris H. Binns and Johnnie Mae H. McKay.
The family will receive friends at the home of Joe and Debbie Grant, 509 Montrose Lane in Laurinburg. There will also be a visitation on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 4-6 pm at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium. A private graveside service will be held at Chester Memorial Gardens in Chester, SC.
