Mr. Jennings Butler, 55, of 10441 Scotland Farms Rd. died Saturday, February 2 at his home.
A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Cole Butler; two sons, Brent Butler and wife, Kelly of Raleigh, Matthew Butler of Laurinburg; a daughter, Whitney Butler of Laurinburg; two brothers, Eddie Butler and Russell Butler of Laurel Hill; five sisters, Carolyn Norton, Vivian Cranston, and Teresa Karlis of Laurinburg; Betty Butler of Laurel Hill and Audrey Terry of Gibson. He was predeceased by a brother, Marshall Butler.
Jennings was born March 14, 1952 in Bennettsville, a son of the late Ed and Alma Scott Butler. He served in the US Army Intelligence in the early 1970's and was the manager of the Express Mart at McKenzie Crossroads from 1983 until 2007. He enjoyed outdoor activites such as sports and hunting.
