Jennifer Denice Jordan

Jennifer Denice Jordan, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on December 12, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital at the age of 41.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service in Troy, NC. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December r 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Candor, officiated by Rev. Michael Free. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Born on February 6, 1984, in Randolph County, she was the daughter of Whitney Harris and Tim Jordan.

A talented artist, Jennifer expressed her creativity through painting and various arts and crafts. She had a passion for decorating and having the children from the community for the holidays. Her green thumb allowed her to grow plants, bringing life and color to her surroundings. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Jennifer had a love for deer and turkey hunting, was an avid Duke basketball fan, and proudly supported the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She is survived by her son, Donevon Troxler, of the home; her mother, Whitney Harris (Jeff), of the home; her father, Tim Jordan (Diane Holdaway), of Myrtle Beach, SC; her significant other, Matt Whicker, of Mt. Gilead; her brother, Chris Jordan (Brittany), of Troy; her step-sister, Samantha Hammer, of Winston Salem; her nephew, Chris Jordan, Jr. of Troy; and her niece, Corbyn, of Troy. Jennifer was also a dedicated pet owner, sharing her life with her bearded dragon, Loki and her faithful dog, Major.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Billy and Flo Trotter, and her paternal grandparents, Reid and Juanita Jordan.
