Jenette Craft Brown, 91, of Rockingham, formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Richmond Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Hamlet.
Services will be private.
Born February 24, 1934, in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Nancy (Nannie) Tyson Craft. Jenette had studied at Sandhills Community College and had worked most of her life as a bookkeeper and executive secretary.
Jenette’s nieces and nephews were extremely dear to her heart. Her favorite things to do were cooking, ceramics, and spending every summer traveling and camping along the entire eastern coastline.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa A. Lewis of Ripley, MS; son, Terence (Terry) B. Lewis of Rockingham; grandchildren, Ben Lewis of Troy, Chris Robbins of Ripley, MS, and Jake Lewis of Rockingham; and great-grandchildren, Peyton, Jason, Jasey, Julie, Jill, and Judd. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jennings B. (J.B.) Lewis and Colvin L. Brown; children, William Isaac Lewis (Ikey), Jennings Ray Lewis, and Teresa E. Gaylord; sisters, Frances Beaman, Evelyn Dail, and Hazel Harrison; and brother, Bill Craft.
