Jay William "Sonny" Quick, 74, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Campbellton Health Care Center in Fayetteville.
A memorial service and visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
He is survived by four daughters, Shirley Adams of Fayetteville, Rhonda Brooks of Rowland, Debbie Linton of Holden Beach, and Teresa Warriax of Raleigh; a brother, Fred Perkins of Wilmington; three sisters, Louise Caulder of Laurel Hill and Brenda Parker and Linda Oxendine of Laurinburg; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Born August 12, 1935 in Marlboro County, he was a son of the late Boyd Quick and Lula Mae Golf. He was a retired carper installer who also enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
The family will also receive friends at the home of Louise Caulder in Laurel Hill.
