Janice Ruth Beasley Currie, 68, formerly of Laurinburg, NC, died peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2014, in her home in Midlothian, Virginia.
Born October 15, 1946 in Laurinburg, she was the youngest child of Winfred and Ruth Beasley.
Mrs. Currie is survived by her three sons, Craig Currie of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Chris Currie of Powhatan, VA, Chad Currie of Midlothian, VA, three brothers, Bobbie Beasley of Lillington, Jimmy Beasley of Laurinburg, Ronnie Beasley of Wilson, and two granddaughters, Amelia and Adeline Currie of Midlothian Virginia. She is preceded in death by her husband William Alfred "Billy" Currie.
Burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg. Arrangements are being handled by McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium of Laurinburg. A memorial service will be conducted in Midlothian, VA in the week following the funeral.
