Janice Marie (Callicutt) Dorsett

Janice Marie Dorsett, age 51, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Harold Pope.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please practice social distancing and wear a mask or another form of face covering.

Born August 15, 1969, in Montgomery County, she is the daughter of Janie Saunders Callicutt of Troy and the late Jerry Lee Callicutt.  She was an administrative assistant with the Troy Housing Authority.  She loved the color green and was a great cook.  Janice loved her family, her extended family and everyone.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Lawrence B. Dorsett, Jr. of the home; her children, Maranda Bailey Dorsett and Jerry Lee Dorsett of the home; two sisters, Penny Speer (David) of Troy, and Eva Ann Callicutt of Ellerbe.  She is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Callicutt.
