Jane Hunt Hamilton

Jane Hunt Hamilton, 91, of Troy, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in West End.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Laurel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Sandra Pegues and Rev. Walter Pegues.

Born December 25, 1934, in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mae Elizabeth Matthews Hunt. To Jane, God came first in her life. She loved everyone, especially her family.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Trudy LaBrack and Donna Lemons; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Franklin Hamilton; children, Susan McLeod and Terry Hamilton; sisters, Alica Harris and Janet May; and brother, Ernest Hunt, Jr.
