Mr. James Fletcher Walters, 83,of 809 Aberdeen Road died Monday, April 17, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Wil I. Jackson. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

He is survived by two sons, Frank Walters of Lynchburg, VA and Larry Walters of Charlotte; 3 grandchildren.

A native of Robeson County, he was the widower of the late Louise King Walters and a retired overseer for McNair Farms.
