James Wayne Sikes of 11681 Purcell Road, Laurinburg, NC, died at his home on Sunday morning.
He was born on February 5, 1938 in Stanly County, the son of the late Owen and Rachel Sikes of Kannapolis, NC.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6 at 1:30-3:00pm at McDougald Funeral Home in Laurinburg. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm. in the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dave Cash, pastor of Midway United Methodist Church in Kannapolis, will conduct the service Rev. Dr. Stan Smith , pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Laurinburg, will assist.
Wayne grew up in Kannapolis and graduated from A.L. Brown High School, attended Kinga
