James Curtis Shoemake

Mr. James Curtis Shoemake, 71, of 20620 Jane Shaw Road died Wednesday, March 12 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the Wagram Church of God officiated by the Rev. Harry Clark. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Shoemake; one son, Perry Shoemake of Jacksonville, FL; one daughter, LuAnn McDaniel and husband, Tommy of Wagram; and one brother, Jimmy Shoemake of Laurinburg; seven Grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Born October 23, 1931 in Marlboro County SC, Curtis was a son of the late Alexander Boyd and Beulah Tyndall Shoemake. He was retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation where he served as a supervisor. He was also a faithful member of the Wagram Church of God where he was a Sunday School teacher and served on the Pastors Council.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Wagram Church of God.
