Mr. James Sanders, 57, of 15620 Fork Street died Thursday, April 27, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday atn the Laurel Hill Church of God of Prophecy officiated by Rev. Jim Dickerson. Burial will be Pine Crest Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Frier Sanders of the home; two sons, Danny Ray sanders and wife Sharon of Laurel Hill, James sanders and wife Wendy of Laurel Hill; his mother, Lottie Hicks Sandersof Laurinburg; three brothers, Billy Sanders of Laurinburg, Vestor"Crip" Sanders of Albemarle and Frank Sanders of New London. Four grandchildren also survive him; Amanda Kay Sanders, Darron Ray Sanders, Tiffany Renee Sanders and Adreanna Renee Sanders.

Born June 3, 1942 in Scotland County he was the son of the late Vester Sanders. A retired diesel mechanic he was employed with the Laurinburg Southern Railroad.

Visitation is 7 - 9 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home in Laurel Hill.
