James Harry Overcash
August 3, 1922 — February 18, 1999
A graveside service will be Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Daugherty Overcash; two daughters, Jan Hunter of Hartsville, SC and Peggy McGregor of Laurinburg; three brothers, W. D. Overcash of Lakeland, FL, Jack Overcash of Ellaville, GA and Bobby Overcash of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a sister, Dorothy Gaiser of Tallahassee, FL; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Born August 3, 1922 in Macon, GA he was a son of the late Walter and Lucille Huff Overcash. He was a US Marine veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired district manager for Bowman Trucking Co.
