Mr. James Stewart Morris, 59, of Old Maxton Road died Friday, January 14, at Britthaven Nursing Home in Hamlet.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church in Maxton officiated by the Revs. Melvin Childress and Rodger Decker. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Born April 8, 1940 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late R. Fairley and Berta Coggins Morris. He attended NC State University and was a graduate of St. Andrews Presbyterian College. James was employed with E. Morris and Son Plant Farm.
He is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Morris of Maxton and Harvey Morris of Bladenboro; a sister, Jean Mattison of Tampa, FA.
